So, why Pembrokeshire? Firstly, this area is teeming with wildlife, including reptiles, dinosaurs and lions. Fortunately these can all be visited in the safe confines of several attractions in the area. Head to the 10th best zoo in the world at Folly Farm in Kigetty, (as rated by TripAdvisor), the Reptile Experience in Saundersfoot, Manor Wildlife Park in Tenby or the Dinosaur Park in Tenby. All these make for perfect days out for all the family.

4. And of course, the beaches

Family holidays in Pembrokeshire would mean nothing without a beach day. Located next to Carmarthen Bay, Amroth Castle is literally a stone’s throw away from a lovely, sandy beach.
