Saundersfoot is perfect for paddle boarding due to the protection of the bay, excellent for both newbies and experts! Being the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the UK’s only coastal National Park, Pembrokeshire boasts some of the finest coastal scenery in the country. Hop on a paddle board and head out across the bay. You’re sure to be blown away by the stunning coastal scenery.
If you’re visiting Saundersfoot as a group why not try out a mega board? Much like a paddle board, but mega! Take a trip across the bay as a group of up to 8 people, a great activity for families! Lie down and use your hands, paddle sitting down or, if you really feel like showing off, stand up and show off your moves!
Feel like burning off some real energy? You can even hire a bike from Saundersfoot. Bike rides are an excellent way to see the beautiful Pembrokshire countryside with some great family friendly cycle paths along disused railways lines, a magical woodland trail in Amroth and some steeper, more challenging routes along the coast.
New for 2020 you can now hire a single or double kayak from Saundersfoot beach. Another great way to see the stunning Pembrokeshire coast while (hopefully) keeping your feet a little drier.
